Bury to Accrington
Hi all
Can anyone recommend a reliable taxi firm for 6 of us to use to get from Bury to Accrington on Saturday, and take us back after? Also any idea of what it will cost?

You can actually get a direct bus before the game. Unfortunatley you won't get one afterwards.

Hi Dave
I saw that the 484? I think. We don't get to Bury till 1 so are keen to get to Accrington as quick as possible so we can grab a couple of beers before the game!

To be honest, that's not one that I would recommend. Sorry mab! They have let me down twice and caused me to miss my trains back to Bristol. My personal recommendation would be Hyndburn Taxis, 01254 237151 or 01254 393933

How are you getting to Bury? If it's from Manchester on the tram, you might be better off with a direct bus from Manchester to Accy. It goes up the M66 and takes 69 minutes. The timetable's here:
