Then as a true Stanley Supporter I would suggest that the offer of the New Style Accrington Stanley Match Day Programme is withdrawn form the eBay auction first thing in the morning, that way we can both back the club and “accringtonstanleyofficialauctions” can save face.

Re: Cambridge Program

From E-bay.
One of only 350 programmes produced for the Accrington Stanley matchday vs Cambridge Utd on Saturday 21st January 2006. The game was a complete programme sell-out and the programmes will not be re-printed so this is a great opportunity to bid if you did not manage to get hold of one, and put some extra money donated back into the club. 100% of the money raised will be donated back into the football club.

Fortunately, no bidders yet.

Re: Cambridge Program

With regard to an earlier post that Cambridge Utd did not recieve hardly any programmes, there was a programme seller on the away end that did not sell out until 2:50 on the matchday and also they took 35 programmes back to Cambridge with them in order that no one missed out. Just letting you know

Re: Cambridge Program

As for the Ebay auction, it is down to the public whether they bid or not they may not be Accrington fans who want that particular programme, as for whose programme it was, it was my own copy that I bought, there is no mention of 'limited edition' anywhere there. It just says one of 350, that means there is 349 more out there.......... !!

Unfortunately someone has bid so I cannot take it off....... you have to remember that all funds are donated back into Accrington Stanley FC......

Sorry for the confusion

Re: Cambridge Program

Thanks for the confirmation of that fact Karen, I’m sure that people will feel better knowing that the visiting supporters where catered for.

As a point of interest the Match Day Programme on eBay is off the block with a matching £2.00 bid from an individual who appears to be a collector of Cambridge Memorabilia. One hopes that the matter becomes self resolving.

Re: Cambridge Program

I posted earlier that regrettably it was my post that had inferred a Limited Print Run and that it may have resulted in some individuals to take it as been the case. A matter I posted to point out and apologised for prior to the matter being exacerbated.

However, people where asked to look for themselves and make their own judgements.

My mention of withdrawal the programme was in respect of the conditions stated within the information on eBay that no further copies would be printed and the compromising statement that more copies would be produced. Again, if my involvement misled others in to believing this was a limited edition I respectfully apologise, but that shouldn't be taken as an excuse for not reading post properly in the first place.

Cambridge United Programme

What was the point in only printing 350 for this game?

Surely you're denying an opportunity to make money through added programme sales. As a CUFC fan, i buy a programme from every single match i attend, and sadly im now missing one from our game with yourselves, and looks like i wont be able to get hold of one.

A bit daft really, is there any valid reason why this happened?

Chris.

Re: Cambridge United Programme

Chris they are available at your club shop..............

As for printing 350, it is extremely hard to judge, we had the same amount printed for our Halifax game and we still had some left over and there was over 1000 more fans on that game than there were on Saturday, so it's hard to judge who's going to buy what.....

Also, please refer to the other Programme link further down...........

Many thanks for that information, Karen.

It would appear that at least one group of the CUFC visiting supporters did not know what was happening overall.

I totally accept what you say as a representative of ASFC, and I'm sorry if my earlier post elevated the visitors' complaint to a cause celebre .
