I suppose all who were going to take part in this have now got their message from Dan that it can't go ahead - apparently the powers that be have said no due to a) not having enough people and b) it being a potentially low audience.
Shame but at least Dan tried to give it a go - not his fault that his bosses have kyboshed the idea

I would have, but i work away Monday to Friday and have no internet access so i would only get any e-mails on a Friday night.

The Newspaper idea was also deemed not worthy either!

I did give them the offer of a Competition to gauge public response but even that did not promt them to take it up

It is a shame because at the end of the day the bigger and wider audeience we can try to engage the more chance we have of increasing attendances and turnover

One positive I noticd yesterday was the increased number of kids at yesterdays game, that may have been down to the apperance of the academy and the two schools taking part in the match at half time but it is good to see!
