If we got somebody like Leeds at home,I am sure that the game would be live on SKY to stop the ticketless fans travelling.

How many would actually come from Leeds? It's not exactly a glamour tie for them.

Re: Carling Cup 1st Round Draw Tomorrow!

5,500 saw them play Rotherham away in the 2nd round last year.

As a money-earner, we'd want to play them away, but as a means of generating a real buzz about Stanley around the town (and so getting more fans through the gate for future matches), we'd want to play them at home.

We are a league club now. I don't think that we would be allowed to switch venues. If our ground isn't capable of handling Preston at home then we shouldn't be in the league.

I think more matches should be shown on sky I mean damn those of us who have sky sports pay enough for it and sky could have the courtesy to show more lower league games instead of premiere teams all the time that most of us don't particually want to watch they could at least make a new sports channel (as they are always doing on movies) for lower league games that way they are catering for everyone and lets face it they make enough money to do this it is'nt impossible

Lets start a petition (joking)
