Exclamation Carlisle on a TUESDAY

I was just wondering why are we playing carlisle on a tuesaday night!!!

Yes there maybe trouble from there fans but the will make the journey anyway
We have alraedy played two more games than anybody else so why another!!
Also we wont get the same size attendence that we would do on a staurday form stanley fans

This probably one of stanleys most important games of the season so why put it on a tuesday night????

It's a bit dissapointing that your attendance will be effected due to the game on a Tuesday night.

Our tickets have been on sale since Monday. Not sure exactly how many we have sold but we were given 1700. Would think they will sell out if they haven't already.

Besides the fixture has been confimed as a Tuesday night fixture since they were released in June.

You also mention there being trouble from our fans. I don't think we are going to travel down to Accrington to cause trouble, we are going there to support our lads and bring back 3 points to Cumbria. In the past we have had the reputation of trouble but none of this has been seen this season that I am aware of.

See you all there.

Good luck from sunday onwards (until the next time we play you) Briscoblue! And it sounds like they'll be more of you than there will be us!

Seem to remember a lot of our big crowds weren't on a Saturday last year except for the Colchester game !!! Some of us work weekends or play themselves, and a lot of other peole that come midweek might watch Rovers/Burnley at the weekends !!??

Re: Carlisle on a TUESDAY

Cheers accystankev. Hope the season goes well for you (after Tesday night).
Would like to see two northern sides going into the football league - Us and Accrington.

Hope the attendance turns out to be a good one, and a few more Accy fans get themselves down to what should be a decent game, and hopefully there will be a good atmosphere.
Been looking forward to this fixture since they were released in June.

It's a bit weird having more fans than the home side. It's happened on a few occasions this season so far - Forest Green, Leigh RMI and Northwich.

Now you are insulting us!

I'm sure there'll plenty of good support for the home team on Tuesday. Should be a good game.

Re: Carlisle on a TUESDAY

Hope it didn't come across as an insult, as it wasn't suppose to be.

I reckon the crowd will be 3249.

Will be in the pub at 3pm tomorrow. Getting picked up outside the boozer at 4pm then off down the M6 and M65 to Accrington. Find a boozer there and then off to the game.

See you all there.
