Carver moves on loan to Halifax

Forward Marcus Carver has moved on loan Halifax Town on an initial month loan deal. I personally don't think Carver should go out on loan again, he's more than ready to be a regular squad member in the Stanley team.

Re: Carver moves on loan to Halifax

I cant understand the logic of this decision, he looks a lot better player than Shay and should be ahead of him in the pecking order. This is a silly decision IMO

Good luck Marcus. I'd imagine he'll be in their starting line-up straight away and playing at a decent standard while hopefully picking up some goalscoring form.

Though local-lad bias will question the decision (and reasonably so - he's one of ours after all), I can understand why Beattie has made it. I'd expect that Carver has made way for a loaned forward to sign today and with Webber being the main striker it's best that Marcus gets some minutes under his belt if we are truly aiming to develop him.

I think Carver should be in the starting line up,but Beattie knows better and wants to bring him on slowly. There will be a big announcement today a forward I believe !!!!!

When he comes back and he starts I hope he also finishes. That's what Stanley need right now.

Perhaps we should adopt a tactic along these lines: Seven-man attacking kick-off results in goal for Red Bull Leipzig in under 10 seconds - video | Football | theguardian.com
