Re: Cavanagh Joins Injured

Fishy says "Peter Cavanagh is waiting for news on his achilles injury that could see him ruled out for several weeks, or even longer if an operation is required."
Where did you hear the confirmation Reamer?
Gutted for Cav. Hope it doesn't turn out to be too serious.

on the back page of the LT it says

REDS SKIPPER OUT FOR MONTH
accrington stanley skipper Peter cav could be out for a month with an Achilles injury. Cavanagh missed tuesday's win over shrewsbury with the injury and manager john coleman admitted the 28-year old was looking at another spell on the side lines. "it's a big blow losing cav. he's out captain and he's very instrumental in our pattern if play. it's a blow but we've got players wh can cover" coleman, whose side face wycombe at fes tomorrow will also run ruw over phill edwards who needed seven stitches in a leg wound. taken from back page of LT
