At 5'10, Danny is a bit too small for a CH anyway. Good defensive full back, but I seem to remember his distribution wasn't up to much playing for us!

Unfair for me to comment as I never seen him play, got a good reputation as a no nonsense type of defender tho

Well Matt Crooks is available having been released from Huddersfield. Funnily enough wikipedia now lists him as a defender/midfielder. Somebody on the planet seems to know his best position.
On another tack , is it me or just coincidence that the composure of the team seems to have gone to pot since the departure of Paul Stephenson in early/mid December ?

Last one was a level headed young man named Aristote

Some really good players in Everton's U21s at the minute - Brendan Galloway and Jonjoe Kenny probably the pick of the defenders. Would be made up with either of those on loan.

If the lads make the step up,any chance of borrowing Stones for a while
