Chanting on Saturday

Why was there so many chants against the Council on Saturday ? The Council still sponsor Stanley by providing training facilities which would cost Stanley a lot if they had to pay. Why not concentrate your chanting in supporting Stanley instead of slagging off the Council and that STUPID chant about Leighton James. Keep politics out of football and use your energy in supporting Stanley.

Re: Chanting on Saturday

Use the terrace humour for Stanley or the opposition not stupid chants about things that are nothing to do with the football match.

Re: Chanting on Saturday

The vast majority of chants are about Stanley or the opposition. A little diversion once in a while can surely be tolerated? And if Councillor Britcliffe was offended by the chants, then his skin is far to thin to be in the rough and tumble of local politics!

Unhappy Re: Chanting on Saturday

I agree with Jeff.

It was OK as a one-off, but not repeated ad nauseam - it became very boring and distracting.

I found it very funny especially as Mr Britcliffe nicked my car parking space I paid £40 for
