Re: Charity Football Match

Cant thank you all enough for helping with your contributions last night.
Got to meet one of you personally ( Afrikaaner ) to thank for coming on a terribly wet night, but really wanted to meet all of you. (nice in the bar eh !)

Thanks again lads and lasses, no doubt there will be loads of photos on the Accrington website or the link by KP.
Sports Photography

With the entrance, donations, raffle, auction and pledges to come the amount raised for Stuart will be in the region of 1500 pounds !
Totally amazing ! THANKYOU ALL

Going to give Bamber bridge the pics and a copy to SH .. I am not going to put them on my website... BB can put them on theres... I cant turn off the BUY button for one set as its an automated system.. and i dont want to look like making money from someone elses cause..

Re: Charity Football Match

Nice to see the total raised, but the burning question is - what was the score - not that that really matters. Wished I could have come but unfortunately, I have been laid low and not even sure if I will make the match against Rotherham this saturday!!!

Re: Charity Football Match

Great to hear what the total was just wish there had been a few more there but i'm sure the money will help stuart through a difficult period.Spoke to stuart and he seems a real nice guy and i wish him well for the future,it was brilliant thing to do for him and credit to Bamber Bridge fc for going ahead with the match in the conditions.Credit to the players as well who put on a good game played in good spirits considering the weather, got a few laughs during the game as well (coley with a facial mud pack etc)congratulations to all involved for a job well done.best wishes to Bamber Bridge fc for the future, and i'm sure you'll see me grimps and carbuncle les coming to watch a league match one saturday when accy are away.cracking clubhouse by the way,
best regards
afrikaaner,grimps and carbuncle les.

Some great lads from FCUM also there on the night. Glad everyone had a good night. Hope we do see you again through the season as we are poorly supported for such a good set up.
Best wishes to all on the forum and Merry Christmas.
