Re: Charity walk to rochdale

I will have information sheets for all those taking part in the walk this Saturday but as I am part of the magnificent 7 and we are sponsoring the match please come and seek me out!!! I shall be on the Clayton end for the Morecambe game if you fail on Saturday.

we now have 60+ people walking and Rochdale are allowing us to have a bucket collection at Spotland. The coach is sorted for the way back and we are hoping to have some entertainment and grub on at the crown when we get back.

it's still not too late to sign up for the walk come and see me or PM me for a sponsor from.

Half to a local charity and half to an international one. The international one is an orphanage near Mount Everest and the local one is for the save the Accrington Pals Chapel fund.

Re: Charity walk to rochdale

follow the link from the Rochdale site for more info

Accy fans walking to Spotland | Rochdale | News | Latest News | Latest News

The Stanley site will be updated with stuff on the Walk after Thursday, why Thursday I hear you ask?

because on Thursday we will be holding a Photo shoot at the ground 12-12:30ish start with Sean Wilson AKA Martin platt of corrie fame (who is the patron for the nepal Charity) and as many of the walkers who can make it, it's sort of an official Press launch. we are hopeful of ITV and BBC coverage of the walk as well as our local papers and of course BBC Radio Lancashire.

if anybody who cannot complete the walk would like to help in some other way then please PM me or come and see me on Saturday at the match

Loweiy

P.S. all the walkers will be brought back to the Crown on a coach provided F.O.C by Fraser eagle and there will be a spud pie supper on at the Crown.
