Unhappy Charnock Looks Doubtful

Very good player..........surely we should see this as a short term investment.......one full season with us and he would move on for a decent profit. IMHO........

There's a limit to what we can afford to pay and as Coley said at the fans' forum, we were "a few quid short" of signing players like Charnock. It is a shame that we can't get him, but if it contributes to keeping the club on budget, then it's the right thing to do.

100% agreed TM

it mean that we have a few more quid to offer Kempson - and while he is certainly not a Charnock he is a more than able third centre back behind Winnard and Edwards

I thought Peter Murphy did ok on Tuesday night. It was good to see him playing again after witnessing his terrible injury while playing for the reserves.
