average attendance at league games is between 60000 and 74000, aaverage attendance at European matches is over 90000. The Real Madrid game was a sell-out at 98772 (sourced from Barcelona site - but you'll have to scroll through every game)
If they are giving away tickets at ridiculously low prices but still cant fill the ground every week then that tells its own story. Lowering prices will work only to a certain degree and only for certain games. If season tickets here were £150 then the only people who would buy them would 98% be the people who will come to most games anyway. Therefore we would be losing the excess every week. TM says it right, that we have to sell at those prices in order to survive. We have the lowest gate in the league now that Boston have ducked off, yet we have the cheapest tickets in the league (or had). It is every Stanley fans' responsibility to spend what they can at the ground in order to maintain what we have. Buying a coat? buy a Stanley one, buying a t-shirt? cuff links? new ruler? car air freshener? buy em all from Stanley and help the club to compete.
