Chester Away
Coming up to the season now, i cant wait, our first trip to Chester is more then likely going to be a sell out as its our first game in league football after our absent and only an hours drive away!
Does anyone know if there will be tickets on sale due course for this fixture or if its pay on the gates,
No immature comments please

Re: Chester Away
Why the sulky face? No club in there right mind would wait until this close to the game then suddenly announce all ticket..
Plus we have been to chester before and it was half empty... I cant see the good folk of chester getting too excited about us

Re: Chester Away
If you can get there early and go into chester itself then a great day out indeed.. one of the finest places to visit in england for my money... Down by the river is a must as is a walk along the wall. It really is a buitifull place..
Grounds a bit lego land... it was a night match when we went... pics are on www.kipax.com

I phoned Chester City about 10 days ago to make enquiries Scott, and they told me that we could pay at the gate on the day.
Hope to see lots of Stanley fans there !

Re: Chester Away
Chester's ground is in the middle of an Industrial Estate. Don't bank on a quick exit. You'll be in a queue for ages. I've had some real nightmare visits there. Oh, and don't expect too much pretty football either, with Mark Wright in charge. Long ball is Chesters game. I'll be listening for your result. Good luck.

my advice for what its worth is not to park at the ground ,it is a sodding nightmare to get out of the groundside carparks, when we last played em it took 1 hour and 10 minuted before the traffic even started to make its way out admittidly due to a large number of us and the police arseing about letting all the home fans out first.its far better to have 20 mins walk and easy access out of the city.:engsmil:

Re: Chester Away
In our Conference season, we took 2,000 for a night game. It's only spitting distance from Shrewsbury, so we thought we'd get back for a pint. They put the kick-off back 15 minutes, (due to the late arrival of Shrewsbury Fans), even though we were banging the gates to be let in, at 1845hrs. At the end, they kept us locked in for ages. In the end, our young lads charged the police on the gate, and we got out. The only time I've been chased by a police dog!
