Re: Chester City
I thought that this chap Whalley was Stanley "Through and Through" Still think he has a place at Accy and could help us through this period of change....

I don't agree the only way he can help now is cutting his ties with Stanley and making sure all potential sponsors and fans know this.

Re: Chester City
is it a prelude to Coley being their new manager?
Todays Leader - Deva Chat - Chester City Fans Forum
... their chairman is quoted as saying that the new manager has recently won the conference title and can bring 6 players with him.

Re: Chester City
just reporting what i read Bagpuss!
i hope there is no truth in it, but it was widely thought to be a done deal mid way through last season. I think Coley (and Eric for that matter) would be foolish to even think about going there.

My brain had somehow made this connection when I woke up today.
But Steve Evans would be a great choice, he and Vaughn have a lot in common.

Already turned the job down when he finished at Boston. His wife didn't want to move and he didn't want to spend a lot of time away from home. They may have a lot in common, they are mates

I will stick by what I posted Rob, not a chance of Coley going to Chester.
