Re: Chester City - this week

There's a fairly comprehensive report on the Beeb: BBC Sport - Football - Chester City wait on rescue bid from Danish consortium. Strangely, the fans don't seem to like the idea.

Re: Chester City - this week

I think the Chester fans have resigned themselves for a long time that the best way forwards would be to start over - without the Vaughan family having any involvment. A last minute bid to save the club may sometimes seem like the best deal but in their case they dont think the Consortium have the money to cover the debts, therefore the club is likely to continue to lurch from one disaster to another for some considerable time.

Good luck to them.
