I also hope thats the case, Think it may be.

Re: Chesterfield Match Thread...........

As others have said, Beatts wont be going anywhere for another 18 months at least.

Its a 2 year project and I firmly believe he has what it takes to keep us nicely in mid-table, if not the Top 10.

He is learning all the time and especially after that result yesterday im hoping he uses the squad far more often.

Re: Chesterfield Match Thread...........

Question - Seeing as our first choice wingers/fullbacks and centre forward were missing yesterday,do you change for the next game?
I dont have the answer, but was impressed with Gray and the Moly/laurence combination -- JBs problem !!!

Re: Chesterfield Match Thread...........

I honestly thought Stanley would have got stuffed good and proper yesterday and with 5 changes , lets get it over with. How wrong was I, we were spot on , brilliant performance, out shone Chesterfield good and proper. I am still puzzled though as why ref gave a yellow card when we had a throw in . The Chesterfield radio commentator got rather excited when Murphy was red carded , he said Stanley luck has now changed , they may be two up but now down to ten men!! he went very quiet when we scored the third. Well done lads , I applaud you

the yellow card at the throw in was probably for time wasting by delaying the throw in.

IMO Gray should be our 1st choice forward and I've said so all season, nothing the others have done has changed my mind. I also don't think there's much to choose between wide players either. Personally I yesterday does show we have a decent squad which should be used more.

Fantastic yesterday, every player (webber?) gave everything

Yes, I had forgotten. It was the day Edgar Davids was sent off So well done Moly on another treble for Accy. Is he to be our saviour yet again ?

Always thought he blows hot and cold, but yesterday he was on fire against two CBs who have championship experience.

of the 9 games that saved our season last year, Moly and Wilson were the left hand side 8 times. The one game that they weren't? Oxford away and a three goal defeat

Not for me. The pace, movement and pressing of our attacking players was something we seem to have lacked for most of the season, though Hatfield needs to not give the ball away when defending quite as much as he did yesterday for me.

I have to agree with this, not one of the team deserves to be omitted (Murphy excepted). But, who starts in his place? And just for once, as I am off work on rest days, might just pop up for the game. (hope I am not jinxing the team!). Looking forward to a good crowd Tuesday night, Stanley deserve that at least. More of the same please JB
