Coley has used Paul's extensive contacts throught the game to bring together a group of individuals who have gelled together under the coaching and tactical awareness of PC.

However, it seems as though PC has had enough of playing third fiddle behind Coley and Jimmy Bell and is looking to take on more responsibility next season AWAY from Accy.

mmmmmm!

Very interesting!

Re: christies child

Can't see anybody catching you guys now.

Despite what you guys may think of me, I genuinely wish you all the beast in the FL. You've been the most consistent throughout and by your own admission you haven't always deserved the points. That for me shows the mark of Champions.

Whilst it hurts for all of us at Christie Park, the majority of 'true' fans wish you well.

The real winner is the North.

Keep going and we could both be there - 6 guaranteed league points for Accy! Best wishes in the next few matches.

Re: christies child

...no punchline, just being honest that the best team during a season got what it deserved.

As for us.....I'm forever the optomist. Our away form has let us down, for far too long now...not just this season. It would be great IF we both made it....but.......

Maybe we need a PC.

Re: christies child

part of me would love Morecambe to come up with us,

but the other part wants to lord it over 'em for a while.

Re: christies child

I would love Morecambe to come up with us great for the Northwest.

I think everyone at Accy knows how much PC has helped us get where we are, I also think he will stay with us for at least another year (I Hope!!)

I think all the proper Morecambe fans are pleased Accrington have done so well. it also proves that a team doesnt have to throw buckets of money around e.g. Stevenage to go up.

Re: christies child

What if...

we reach April 4th and the fat lady's still in the dressing room?

Stanley don't have a match that night but Hereford are away at Morecambe and could, just possibly, be going into the match needing a result to preserve their championship hopes.

Most of us are realistic enough not to be counting chickens but I don't suppose that I'm the only one who's keeping an eye on both diary and fixture list so that, if we are promoted, then we can make sure we're there when it happens. But has anyone considered we might get promoted on a night when we're not playing?

So, if events go that way, it's just possible that there could be a massive Stanley contingent supporting Morecambe that night! With, maybe, Coley and the players in the crowd with us and the Shrimpers having to accommodate two separate sets of 'away' supporters.

It's not impossible!

Yes, like the line of thought.

How about going to support Liam's men on March 14th , then back again the following Tuesday. Let's get as many conference games in as possible.
