Re: Clayton End development?
Absolutely not a knock of Mr Holt, but I still havent got a clue what work is going on at the ground.
On one hand it makes no difference to me (and by extension 'the fans'), but we like to yabber and get excited at the most ridiculous of nothingnesses.
The current works may be a culmination of nothingnesses, except for the seat evictions, but creating a general murmur of positive conversations regarding the wider plans may help to sway disillusioned Rovers fans

Re: Clayton End development?
[B ]I really hope that the Clayton End "Toilets" are not going to be 'knocked down'.
I really like the way that they have been specially designed to preserve water stocks!
They should be given 'Protected Status' as they are simply........ 'Unique!'[/B]

I'm not sure the seats will come out this season as fans have bought seated season tickets in the stand?

Re: Clayton End development?
It just worries me a little because I understood that the seats were put into the Clayton End due to Football League regulations & unless the new stand is likely to be ready fo the start of next season could we be in breach of them? Not a criticism, just a concern

Re: Clayton End development?
Maybe there's leeway if work is in hand to provide the requisite number of seats when the season starts?

Re: Clayton End development?
Am sure this has all been done by the correct process With the league. What I worry is the fans that enjoy sitting in the Clayton end, that have already bought a season ticket for the Clayton end sitting. That now will have to move!

Re: Clayton End development?
Andy holt says they have written dispensation from the football league who appreciate some of our ground issues, they know the plan and are helpful. Then he goes onto say we are all on the same side and they have not been onstructive and wants a better match day experience and they want more sponsors big or small, sponsoring stands, boards etc because he says once they get the setup better more fans, sponsers come equal more money for the management to build and retain a team.

Maybe we should sell them to the whinney hill estate freeloaders at £200 a pop. Make up for all the games that they watch for free.
