Clough

Burtons manager has jointly won the manager of the month award with Chris Wilder. According to BBC Sport, Burtons performances included a 2-1 win on Saturday at runaway leaders Accrington Stanley. What a performance! Do you think there should be a re-count for the award, and for it to be given solely to Wilder?

Re: Clough

BBC website for football is absolute shocking. I dont know who writes the articles but i have seen some recently which are daft.
Naming players who had an attemp at goal or good game for a certain team, when they where playing for the other. This doesnt just happen the odd time either, its every week !

Re: Clough

The Beeb are , indeed, total rubbish.

Nevertheless, the Clough boy deserves his award.

I suspect that Wilder will win his outright next month.

I think that Coleman will win it next month as Halifax will drop off the pace over the next 3 games, the pitch will have it's say at the Shay!!

Morecambe boss may have a chance as I see a strong month for the shrimps ahead and I hope they follow us up via the play offs

Upon reflection, I'm sure you're right. (I've made the point about the Shay pitch on another thread, BTW)

If, God willing, we achieve promotion in April then it will be impossible for the Manager of the Month (indeed, the Season) to be anyone but John Coleman.
