Club Shop

My two lads where given these as presents recently why don't the clubshop sell something along these lines?

Mrs Bagpuss thought it would be a good idea to remove our surname.

I will ask the question but when you get a gift you don't like to ask.

Re: Club Shop

Sorry I forgot about this until I saw spud today.
£3.99 from a card shop across from the Market Hall, Accrington.
He will put whatever you want on the pendant including photos so I've been told but I still think the club should be doing something like this.

It had the Club crest at each side and the web address along the bottom. It would be nice if we could have a neat one of our own as part of the membership package maybe. Just a thought.

No worries, I'm happy to have an excuse to pop over Monday or Tuesday, I've seen the shop but never had need to go in. Thanks again.

They are probaly illegal as the club have trade marked the words "Accrington Stanley" on most items now.

The guy in the card shop can use the town crest or the word "Accrington" or the word "Stanley" by themselves, but not both words together - or he may get a visit from Lancashire Trading Standards

Re: Club Shop

Correct, the club have Accrington Stanley registered as a trademark (numbers 2041200 and 2376111) covering a wide range of classifications. Perhaps a friendly visit from Rob might be in order? But most important of all, the club should get in on the act by producing similar lines, stocking them in the shop and advertising them on ebay as "Buy Now" items, before yet more money that could have gone into the club's coffers goes elsewhere!

HA HA HA HA HA.........

Personally I not bothered, the person who gave me them as a present had approached the club first only to be told they didn't have anything like that. They then went round loads of places in the end finding this shop, it was not the shops design but the the person who was buying, the shop are not selling Stanley stuff but a homemade design. Once again the club should get their finger out and stock stuff that people want to buy. As research has been done and it shows this item will sell do we think it will be available in the clubshop soon.............not a chance but please prove me wrong................Poppy I don't give a toss whatever you think.
