The empty shop is council owned, not sure what advertising they would need.

Re: Club shop
The thing I liked about Ossy Mills were people from this neck of the woods who would never dream of going to the Club Shop who knew I supported Stanley used to comment that they had seen it and a few had bought Stanley items there.
Which if we are not using it at the moment we are missing out on, it could also work maybe in a smaller way in reverse by the Club Shop stocking a few selected lines & items from the outlet down there (the sweeties would be great). Yankee Candles seem quite popular

Hey you, don't watch that watch this! This is the heavy heavy monster sound,
The nuttiest sound around. So if you've come in off the street and you're beginning to feel the heat,
Well listen buster, you better start to move your feet to the rockinest, rock-steady beat of STANLEY

Re: Club shop
Taken from our Official website, good to see somebody grabbing it by the horns!!!!
Retail
Saturday 16th Jan 2010
ASFC Merchandise.
Even though the match against Rotherham has been called off, the Stanley Retail Store here at the Crown Ground will be open as normal from 11:30am through to 4:00pm.
Our new Saturday opening hours remain unaffected by the unfortunate British weather.
All instore offers remain in place throughout today and upto Tuesday's game against Gillingham whereby the offers will change to a new stock item. So hurry down while stocks last.
All Joma junior rain jackets are now just £22.99
All Joma junior black polo shirts down to £17.99

Re: Club shop
Lew is a good lad as said before, he has foresight and a great retail mind.
The trick is going to be keeping it fresh so you keep wanting to go in to see what new lines have arrived, the store I would imagine is steady during the week but that's where the online should kick in and that's where it also needs to kick on wth a potentially billions of customers
