Club Confirms Lowe bid
Posted on: Wed 06 Jul 2011Following various reports in the media this morning, the club can confirm that we have received a bid from an un-named club for Ryan Lowe, however, we wish to state that the bid was a lot less than has been reported and the board of directors have dismissed the offer as totally derisory.
just been reading page after page on The Football Forum regarding Stockport. It seems they have been taken over by a guy with well known Merseyside Gangster links and has said publicy that "if Stephen Vaughan wants to get involved he has my number". Vaughan was the guy who killed Chester and Widnes and tried to get in with Wrexham until he was chased out of town. He also held minutes silences for a drug runner who was shot in a drive by in Bootle.
Vaughan began his ownership of Chester with ridiculous 100k bids for Gregg Blundell and Kevin Ellison (both accepted). Evans has begun his ownership of Stockport with ridiculous bids for Lowe and McConville.
The writing is on the wall for County.

perhaps not a realistic figure.

despite being the League 2 leading goalscorer last year, Lowe is practically a pensioner and has hardly set the world on fire in his last 15 years as a lower league professional. He has no sell on value.
McConville is a young, hungry, die for the cause winger cum striker with a deadly eye for goal. His finishing ranges from the sublime to the ridiculous and his mazy dribbles leave defenders trailing in his wake. He is fit and has no history of injury trouble. He is the ultimate professional and has 15 years in front of him with unlimited future transfer value. Well, that's the story we are sticking to!

Sounds like they could have jumped out of the frying pan & right into the fire - anyone who has links with Vaughan's got to be dodgy.

Re: Coley to quit over Cisak
Leighton McGivern!!!!!!!!!
John Miles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!
well, Sean, if you think County are to be taken seriously then just look at those two particular signings and get your arse back to the Crown. I was thinking of lumping on County to bounce straight back up as Champions - but not on the evidence of that report

Re: Coley to quit over Cisak
if mconville were to remain another season, continued to improve, like he did this season. the fact that jimmy ryan has gone, could make him more desirable to much better clubs than county,(no disrespect intended) thats a simple fact of life, hope being a scouser he grasps it. thats my thoughts on this matter.
