Colin Murdoch

Would be nice to see more Accrington Stanley players living in Prestbury:

Re: Colin Murdoch

Colin Murdoch, a true gentleman, what a top fella.

Haggis have to disagree!! Unless the fella's playing for not a lot, a hope we never have another player with a Prestbury address. (guess he pays more in Council Tax a month than most of us pay in mortgage payments)

IMHO we need young, hungyr, point to prove, chip on their shoulder, wanting to be better ( ie Chris T, Jimmy, Phil, Kenny, the lad ex Rovers, Roscoe) who live within an hours drive and are desparate to stay within the full time game.

Colin has earned top money all his life, and probably was in happy to come to us to see if he could extend his career. Sadly it didn't work out and I belive that he had played enough games to stop another year. Being a true gent be didn't ask to exercise that option

We need to get Coley to find more raw talent and he ain't doing bad!! Ian C, Gary, Phil, Chris, Jimmy, and I'm sure I've missed loads more; but I'm hope you get my drift!!
