It’s a little hard to take when something you love seems to struggle, its like having a loving dog and seeing it kicked every week (my apologies for the terminology, I haven’t seen the club play in person since the beginning of the season) but it still hurts. We do have some strong and classy players at Stanley; we have bags of history and a deep sense of loyalty but that’s not enough, we can’t seem to play for ****, no coordination, no communication, no hope…..pretty grim isn’t it.

Moral seems to be at a low ebb, this could be due to the fact that we lose week on week or it could be a leadership issue, maybe the club should start to question it’s future, if this keeps up we’ll go down, numbers will drop as will income. Come on Eric, wake up cock, we should be in the top 10 and moving up for a guaranteed play off position, not heading down the crapper……Board meetings, open and frank discussions, sackings if need be. We can keep slapping the players every time, if there’s no morel, there’s no leadership. Wake up, let’s drag our arses out of the past and move on.

The pain is great but there is no morphine available Doug. Holding on to the past can help if the aim is to surpass it but if not it needs to set aside but not forgotten. Had my say in the v Wycombe thread but know were you are coming from.
