Re: Conference Watch

Cambridge have sacked thier manager after getting beaten by Exeter last night. Good result for Tamworth - beating Satanage Boro 2 - 1 with only 10 men

Yes, it doesn't bode well at the moment.

A word of advice, if you ever need a new manager, Rob Newman is not your man.

It will be interesting to see who they will now appoint as his successor.

Keith Curle and John Beck are two names that have been mentioned so far.

Re: Conference Watch

After 15 years of a downward spiral, Cambridge have started well and are top of the Conference as of tonight

Having said that, I would rather we be at the top at the other end of this current season.

BBC SPORT | Football | Non League | Cambridge Utd 5-1 Farsley Celtic

Good luck to Accy for the rest of the season

Re: Conference Watch

There was absolutely no need to do that to little Farsley Celtic - big bullies

Re: Conference Watch

Rob Newman good player - saw what I think was his league debut - for Bristol City the week after they'd had to release 8 star players - in an amazing 3-1 win at Preston.

I think Mick Harford was making his league debut also and I recall he scored for them.
