They won the league quite easily. When we played them at there place i thought they where one of the strongest sides.. a country mile apart from conference standards... Then I thought they where rubbish here.

I like going to Barnet.. 2 quid for a days parking and 3 quid into london for the day out prior to the match.. very handy to get to... will miss the trip and I made a few friends there.. one of which won spot the ball on this very website last season.

I agree , Kipax.

Barnet hovered around the relegation zone at the bottom of the old Fourth Division for more years than I care to remember.

Along with Carlisle and Halifax Town , they were always the Great Escapologists at the end of every season.

Then, when they finally went down , there were loud murmurs to the effect that they'd certainly stay down.

All credit to them for going back up. Obviously a first-class strategy in both the football management and the club management. Plus the hospitality which you've experienced.

Finally , we've all taken pleasure in giving Signor Grazioli a good ribbing . . . I can't see Barnet turning down the pots of money which they'll be offered for him during this summer !

Yeah a sound bunch of fans down there - every one of em. Stewards were a little bit dodgy but Ive experienced worse.. Used to like going myself and hopefully yous lot still can next season..

yeh well done 2 barnet, i cant believe they won the league by so many points, when they where at the crown we absolutely battered them and they looked very ordinary 2 me!
