I agree Val. If we stick out for a "high figure" which I think we should we may get to keep him until the January window....when other teams may be keener to sign him?

All depends on the new management duo's approach.....with Jack gone already...perhaps he'll be allowed to go now? Guess we'll know soon with the window open today.

We've today lost another goal scoring midfielder. We have signed two lads from Boston who, whatever their last season's success in National League North, have to step up two divisions, as did Matt Lowe, and are unknown quantities at this level. Who is going to supply them and, absent Tommy and Jack, who is going to supplement their goals from midfield? As things stand I am worried.

Re: Contracted players for season2024/25

Lots have changed at Stanley but one thing that hasn’t is the fact we, and the managers, probably won’t know who’s in the squad until very, very close to the start of the season (if not after it’s started).
But, we’ve got Alex Henderson, Ben Woods, Shaun Whalley and Dan Martin as attacking midfielders.
My concern is more about the defence where, unless another nugget like Brad Hills is unearthed, we need some experience and physicality to supplement Seb Quirk and Jay Rich-Baghuelou.
