According to Bulls News:-

"New Accrington boss Paul Cook says he will go back to his former Sligo side to sign players. The former midfielder believes the League of Ireland to be better value than signing players from English sides."

According to Wiki he signed for Shamrock Rovers this month. You can't beat a good contradiction in these matters!
