Crawley Town - The situation
Wont take you long to guess that I am CTFC fan, and im afraid it really is troubled times for us.
Firstly, as long as your players dont get complacent over the last few days events and we have a team turn up then it will be an easy 3 points for you tomorrow.
The club and team is in disarray.
In short new owners came in August, promised the earth and failed to deliever. They took on big names like Alan Mullery and John Hollins, signed below par footballers on stupid contracts and are now trying to get rid of all these players by renegading on contracts and slagging all and sundry to the press.
In 12 months we have gone from play off contenders to the next Hornchurch, and as usual its the fans that suffer most.
Therefore there is a fair chance at tomorrows game their will be protests against the board and the running of the club.
I would ask any of your supporters to support these legitimate protests in any way you can, even if it means singing sack the board with us!
Also, they own the REDZ bar (our now small and hugely over priced social club) PLEASE DO NO USE THIS!
We are planning to picket outside to stop more money going into the owners pocket.
If you require refreshment a much cheaper and nicer pub The Half Moon is only a 4 minute stroll from the ground. Ask anyone where it is and they will direct you, not thats it difficult to find!
I trust you all have a safe and enjoyable trip to Sussex tomorrow, and that we can all be one voice against more businessman who saw fit to ruin another once proud football club for its fans.
Cheers.
