Crown opening

I didn't manage to get across for this (sorry HR), has anybody got a report on the goings ons? opening speech? decor and refurbs?

I went in there yesterday. It hasn't really changed except for being repainted. As for the ale being flat, that was a problem that was sorted out later on. The glass washer had broken down, so all the glasses were being washed by hand. It was this that caused the pints to look flat (too much detergent was being used).

Had a good laugh with Eric Whalley, he's a really sound bloke.

plus it looks like the ale in that picture is cider with the look of the glass...which doesnt have a head on it
