Got to say things are looking really bad for them now. Had to cancel match with Boro for this week and now this. See link:

Re: Darlo

Wow, I would think the football league would have to look into this. Darlo seem to believe they will not start with negative points, but surely they must, if they start with a CVA or if they start at all. How many times is this now. Might be a few players looking for new clubs very soon.

Re: Darlo

This is (very slightly) more positive:
Gazette Live - Sport - Football - Darlington FC - Darlington staff told to leave

And, according to the Beeb, the 'Boro match was cancelled because of injuries:
BBC SPORT | Football | My Club | D | Darlington | Darlington cancel Boro friendly.
But, if they haven't got a side now, what are their chances come 8th August?

Only if they do not satisfy the normal conditions of Football League rules for exiting administration.

Re: Darlo

Chester have been allowed to continue but with a 25 point deduction and Livingston have been relegated to Division 3 in Scotland, Think Darlington have been very lucky, after all this is possibly the second or third time the club have gone into administration and Luton got a 30 point penalty last season and were relegated to non-league.
