Re: Darren Randolph

Last Friday's news item on the fishy site quoted physio Ian Liversedge as saying "I am expecting both of them (Danny & Tretton) to be ready and pushing for a place some time in November."

Re: Darren Randolph

Sometimes these rumours are true or they can be used as an insentive to get a player in a positive frame of mind.

Eh??

So he's staying, month on month on month?? Great if that's true!

Can the club not come clean & tell us if this is so??

Stop a lot of sniping on here, re: lack of action in obtaining suitable cover for injured Danny; or is what you are intimating not quite 'legal', & is bending the rules?

C'mon, rumours or fact??

Re: Darren Randolph

'Short-term loans' can only be up to 3 months in length, but can be converted into a 'long-term' loan at any point which has a maximum of a season in length. Randolph is on a short-term loan at the moment.

Re: Darren Randolph

does the Charlton website not say that he is staying for his third and final month? Is there a rule on loans that they either sign for the season or a maximum of 3 months if only a month at a time?

Re: Darren Randolph

charlton say this is darren's last month but hopefully they review his case and the two clubs can agree on the season long loan which would be fantastic

Re: Darren Randolph

unfortunately we can only have darren on a short term loan for a maximum of 93 days, expiring on 26th november. a long term loan can not be agreed until the transfer window opens in january and so coley is looking now to find a solution to our goalkeeping problems in december.

Re: Darren Randolph

I haven't seen anything about it on the fishy site but Darren's Ireland U19s had three wins in last week's tournament so go on to the next phase. There's more on the FAIreland website.
