whoever plays this could be our last chance to visit the anchor ground as their chairman has big plans!!!!

and if like me the whole Euro 08 thing was just too painfull to watch then this will be your first footy for ages!!

Finished 1-1. A couple of the trialists in the second half looked useful and it looked like John Newby played for us in the first half (thanks for the tip Loweiy )

6 argentinian players were also playing as trailists and look quite good linked up together well

Thought a couple of the players in the first half weren't bad, but Rocky looked out of touch and gave away a soft penalty. We still have a problem in scoring goals as the goal we did score was an own goal - a brilliant header by their number 5. Hit the woodwork in the 2nd half and as others have said, a few looked useful. Still only first game of the friendlies, loads of time to gel together a proper team.

Looking at the picture of Newby on Sky Sports, it looks nothing like the lad that played last night. I have no idea who he was, but he looked kind of familiar.

sorry tin monkey the player was not Newby but as you said he did look kind of familiar!!! it's one of the fun things at pres season game working out who the players are!!!

Yes I read a similar clip so I couldn't figure out why he might feature for us.
