it was 0-0 at half time when I left, Darwen seemed to have the upper hand but couldn't really put any chances away.
When I pulled off the motorway there was Police sending people away from the Darwen turn off and re-routing through Eccleshill (?) - I thought there was gonna be a HUGE gate for their possibly final game. Turns out there was another team playing a couple of miles away! Gate was less than a hundred.

Darwen lost 0-1, although I thought they were the better side.
Apparently the 'winding up order' is now going to be contested, so Darwen FC may not be thrown out of the league on Wednesday. It really is a travesty that it's come to this, especially in light of such a small debt.

I think it was good value for £5 entry, seeing the Darwen manager pull a muscle in the (not so) technical area!!
 Like TM said to me it really makes you appreciate Stanley a little more after watching this level off football not just on the pitch but the facilities of it aswell.

Woo woo the fame. 77 on Anchor Saturday 47 more than there last home game. I don't remember the 2 Darwen players getting sent off though???

I wanted to go to this game.. because I thought it was the last one.. Thankfully it may not be.. I was sent up to the giant axe.. listening to "we hate barrow" songs gave me a nice warm feeling inside
