David Johnson

Ex Bury, Ipswich, Forest and Burnley striker David Johhson is looking to get his career back on track with Burton Albion.

Re: David Johnson

Possible hijack? I always rated him as a very good championship/old division 1 striker.

Re: David Johnson

He knows were the net is. He must have come on heaps and bounds to be considering playing again. He retired at forest through a neck injury. If he is confident to play, again he would be a very useful addition to the stanley team at 30 years old.

Re: David Johnson

If he retired through injury he probably would have got an insurance pay out and if he wanted to play league football again he would have to pay that insurance money back.

Re: David Johnson

It was a back injury that forced his retirement. Can't see him playing at any serious level again. He was struggling with arthiritis so presumably that must have improved too ?

Re: David Johnson

Take him on a pay per play arrangement.... He was a class act, would be great feeding off Mullers.
