Perhaps its about snaring a keeper that fits in our wage structure? I have no idea, but at this point am happy to let the Manager manage.

Yes David Hargreaves played at St. Helens and kept a clean sheet ( the sec of the day was registered!!)

And yes Steve Bramwell did well at Eastwood (again the sec was 2nd choice, even though registered!!)

Thanks for coming on MR T " SO MUCH TO SAY BUT WILL KEEP QUIET " That tells us that there may be a goalkeeper on the way to ASFC or WHAT ? ..... Wonder if BEATTS wants to add to his CV ? .... That puzzels me i need time to fathom that one BUT WILL ...

Weve thought hard and long about this and as JAMES has scored many fantastic goals just maybe he thinks he can save many fantastic shots between the posts.... ha ha

Most outfield players do one game in goal in an emergency, play a blinder and spend the rest of their careers (a) saying goalkeeping is easy and (b) making sure they never do it again .........

I'm speaking as an ex-hockey goalie, but I'm sure it's just the same in footy.
