Well, at least it wasn’t another 3-0 defeat.

Re: Derby County Away

The only positive,s out of that were 45 minutes into Mcconville,s legs and Adekoya getting into the big time and looking like a centre forward needs games now big disappointment,s were performance,s very under par from likes of Hamilton, Coyle, Liegh and Whalley difficult month ahead and two cup competition,s definitely need some experience and quality through the door if we can persuade anyone.

Same line up (almost ?)...Same ineffectual tactics !.. Same lack of footballing ability in every department... Same ' goals for ' statistic !.. Same lack of drive and leadership just when it's needed most !.. Same outlook for the future...
Same ... Need I go on ?..oh yes the demeanour of today's players seemed to reflect their realisation that they're just not good enough for League One. Which is a sad indictment on the Management !...

QUO VADIS STANLEY ?.

Whilst I am very disappointed with the result and recent form, when you look at the goal scorers today, the gulf in class/budget smacks you on the nose!!

Those three would get into most of the Championship sides and not look out of place, we need a reality check in more ways than one......

Coley must work his magic in this window

We earned the right to play in this league but it seems that a lot of folk just look at budget,s and expect us to roll over unfortunately this squad also seem to perform like that as well no confidence and certainly a lot of at times woeful football needs a cup run not just for the money but to gain some confidence and a chance to recruit a bit of quality and experience.

That is what I'm trying to say J... 'The Class of 22/23' are just not good enough to play at League One level !...It saddens me to say this believe me...but you and I have seen enough Stanley squads to see and face up to this reality !.
As for ' The Window'..I share in your hopes without holding my breath !..

Re: Derby County Away

In keeping with my New Years resolution to be less critical (teeth already gnashing) the positives are;
1. No one expected us to get anything today.
2. We have 1 game in hand on Cambridge & 2 on Burton.
3. We need to get a striker from somewhere or it's goodbye to L1.
4. Barrow is an easy trip by train.

C’mon, your Lordship, what odds have you bagged for a Barrow promotion?
