Re: Doc, Welchy and Mauro leaving!!!
I see this as a positive move for the club. It's always sad to see players leave, but it's onwards and upwards (hopefully).
As long as we replace these players (and any others that are on their way) with better players, then we'll all be happy.

Not sure its necessarily the same for goalkeepers as for outfield players.
He underwent a pretty good examination yesterday.

Re: Doc, Welchy and Mauro leaving!!!
Not really surprised about Sean & Mauro and to be honest I've had a feeling for a while that Welchy would go although I was hoping I was wrong. Just hope they're all there tomorrow night so they can have a proper goodbye ,especially Welchy(and so Lesley can get the chance to ruffle Sean's hair ). Good luck to all of them wherever they go.

Re: Doc, Welchy and Mauro leaving!!!
Ive never like sean however alot was expected of him. Mauro did get much chance to play really so am not really drawn to him. However ill be a bit gutted to see welch go. He was nice guy who was a good defender and at times a great goal scorer. I hope he gets first team football at a good club because he`s worth it!!!

Re: Doc, Welchy and Mauro leaving!!!
Re: Martin and Antwi - Sky ran an item today where Wenger and Benitez were pushing for the old chestnut of having their reserve teams playing in the FL. Benitez said that he'd offered to loan Antwi, Martin and another player to Tranmere but they didn't want them because they didn't have enough experience. Seems that PL managers want their younger players to get used to competitive football before they take a chance on them in the 1st team.

Re: Doc, Welchy and Mauro leaving!!!
sad news but not surprsing really.
I just hope coleman can pull some more rabbits out of his hat this year.
Never really saw Alemida, but if godwin comes back we wont miss him.
Doherty yes he had injuries but he still has gallons of potential, personally feel coleman is making a mistake letting him go.
As for Welchy gutted thats all i can say.
No doubt mangan will get another contract tho hes done nothing all season.

Re: Doc, Welchy and Mauro leaving!!!
Yes, best of luck to all three players. I fully agree with all those who are disappointed to see the departure of Michael Welch.

No, but all but one of the centre halves have gone. If Antwi doesn't come back, we're going to be struggling, as JC's record in recruiting them dioesn't look good (N'Da, Foyle, Baines, Almedia)

Re: Doc, Welchy and Mauro leaving!!!
Strange but Almedia played tonight against Bolton and looked pretty good.

Re: Doc, Welchy and Mauro leaving!!!
LET tonight said that Dunbavin has agreed a 12 month stay at IES. Almieda had a cracking game tonight at Clitheroe vs Bolton, just hope JC & Jimmy have better things up their sleeves come the new season. By the way we lost on pennys 5-4 after full time score of 1-1 tonight.

Re: Doc, Welchy and Mauro leaving!!!
Welchy gave everything he had every game and will find a club pretty easily. Not bothered about the other 2 doc - overated and cant tackle. Havent seen enough of the lad they found on holiday. Good luck to them all. I will be one of many fans who will be dissapointed if Andy Cross Country Mangan gets another contract and it has nothing to do with temprement just football.
