Does anybody think Cookey would/should come back as a coach

Sorry to see it didn't work out for him cos he's a top bloke but it could work to our advantage if he'd come back.

On a serious note though I hope he is employed by Stanley again in some capacity because his experience and enthusiasm would be good to have round the place again. I know there's many factors such as injuries, transfers etc but results have took a bad dip since he left.

I dissagree... how does getting to 9th in the football league 2 pass as bad dip? reults are bad now but they went when our best players went... much as I like cookie I didnt see a change when he left... I think cookes input to the game will stay a lot longer and where such that they wouldnt be noticed when he left.. things put into practice didnt stop being in practice when he left...

can we afford to have him back for any new input? if he comes back and we can afford then i would weolcome him with open arms... i cant see a bad side to him coming back... i just dont agree with the hype and the theory that we went downhill when he left

Fair comment Kip I just think he has a lot to offer despite what happened to him at Port.
