dont' take the bait
why oh why do we feel the need to rise to the pathetic attempts by rival supporters who attempt to undermine us, our club and our fanbase?
The only way these losers will get the message is if we just blank all their weasly efforts and only respond to those fans who wish to discuss proper valid conversation.
We know that we have a smaller fanbase than the mega-clubs (termed loosely). We know we can and will survive in the League because there are clubs like Rochdale that only have crowds of around 3000 and we will get that. Exeter support is that good that they dropped out of the league, and by their own admission they take more away now than they ever did because of the united we stand in the face of adversity mentality (not a dig just a reference to recent troubles).
We think we have the best support per capita of all the clubs and while this may be true or not, all clubs claim to have it. We leave many of the smaller clubs with new friends and best wishes ringing in our ears. The only thing that clubs such as Hereford, Halifax, York, Exeter, Aldershot etc have over us is sheer numbers. Could you imagine the noise if we had up to 6000 (four times our average) joining the Ultra chorus.
We sing because we want to. We sing to celebrate when winning, we sing to encourage when losing, we sing because we are proud to be from Acc, We sing because we can.
We do not need to big ourselves up, the team are doing that for us. The proof of our success is that we get losers from other clubs coming on here and having a go because that is the only way that they can take a cheap shot at us.
When the tosspots come on do not feel compelled to respond as that gives them ammo and it descends into childish mudslinging. Be loud be proud - draw air into your lungs and feel the Crest on your chest knowing that next year we will no longer be part of the Non-League pyramid and we will have been the first club to leave the league and start again from the very bottom and then return. We are making history.
We will play Exeter again but it won't be in this world
