Re: east fife today

That's good to hear, prefer a win but hey. Looks a lot better friendly table than last season. Cheers ddevil.

Re: east fife today

No wins out of 3 against opposition from a Conference North standard? Hmmmm..... a couple of confidence boosting wins would have been preferable.

My first post! Not totally disagreeing with this, I would say perhaps the Third Division may be of this standard. Cowdenbeath, from the Second Division, went down to Workington, one of the CNorth's better sides and won 2-0.

Developed a soft spot for Stanley over past couple of years, hope you have a good season.

Re: east fife today

Been following Stanley for a couple of seasons now and went to see them for the first time today. Was pretty pleased, a poor first half performance but a much better showing in the second and Boco's goal was a great finish after some nice build up play.

Cant remember the full line up but the ones i remember starting were Dunbavin, Cavanagh, Richardson, Roberts, Proctor, Branch, Mullin and Brown. At half time McEvilly, McGivern, Boco and Arthur came on. McIvelly was subbed near the end not long after he could (and probably should) have been sent off and was replaced up front by sub keeper Fearon.

Was a good game and McGivern took his chance well after a bit of a scramble. Much better second half performance though.

Hi Guys

Match report and pics from today's game are now up on the unofficial East Fife site AWAY FROM THE NUMBERS.

Just click AFTN.CO.UK - News and Reports

You had a pretty poor first half outing but an excellent second.

Good luck for the forthcoming season. I know a few of us have been looking out for your results since last year's game, so hopefully you can build on last season and challenge for at least the playoffs this year.

Thanks GoF - a good report. Especially like the comment about Whalley's miss.
One point though, we're not a Nationwide side anymore.

Just back

Evil was subbed in case he got sent off or got his head kicked in.. east fife players had it in for him after an initial scuffle..

Dissapointing first half.. better second half
