It'll remind us of Winsford and Ellesmere Port!

Re: EFL Cup date been arranged?

I suspect the club are not sure on how many fans are thinking of going. As Stanley are the first team to play a domestic cup competition match at the stadium, I suspect at least 3 or 4 coach loads (eventually) plus all those going under their own steam. The other point is, have the club even received any tickets yet?

Re: EFL Cup date been arranged?

I've been thinking about these ere coaches. They are a bit of a faff for someone in South Manchester to have to travel 45 mins north to get them and vice versa. Does anyone know if they pick up/drop off en route? Maybe at a service station.

I'm also a bit put off at the prospect of getting unlucky and sitting next to some of Yonmon's boo-boys who might complain throughout about motorway cones and driver's overtaking skills etc.

(On the otherhand, if I sit next to Dav007 I can perhaps bounce some ideas off him about how the club relations could be improved in his new, very important, role.)

Otherwise, it's the train - which probably means sitting on the floor near the bogs with Jeremy Corbyn and then being stranded in London if it goes to pens.

Pitfalls of falling in love with Stanley eh?

Re: EFL Cup date been arranged?

Corbyn is an Arsenal fan, so he'd presumably be heading north to Nottingham.

Doesn't Cameron support West Ham, or Villa, or someone of that colour scheme?

Re: EFL Cup date been arranged?

If you do take the train , you would have to stay overnight in London as the return trip would be Thur morning. This is miffing me off , as we would prefare to travel by train , quicker and roomier.
