Email sent to Stanley today

Today I sent this email to the club as a worried supporter, but as yet have had no response.

As a supporter of Accrington Stanley for 31 years through the turnstile and by other means which have raised several thousands of pounds for the club, I feel compelled to ask two critical questions which require answers.

Before I go into the public domain with this, please could you answer the following with straight talking and refrain from using all of the 'media-cliches' which were used in Dave O'Neils statement on Monday.

From the outside it would seem the club I love is in danger of folding and time is running out.

1) When a multi-millionare is offering to get involved and give the club a cash injection, why are you then asking us supporters to raise the £308,000 required. These are difficult times for many and we as supporters can only raise a limited amount. I like many have paid into the fundraising ideas but how far can we go with this? The sight of a little girl emptying her piggy bank into the fund when wealthy men are playing power games made me sick to the stomach. Why is this being allowed to go on?

2) If you continue to resist sharing the power of our great club, you will then have to come up with a plan for the future. In the statement you said the easy way out would have been to accept the ASSF money? If you don't want the easy option please can to make a statement in which you tell us your plans to get us out of this situation and give details.
It is obvious to everyone that the fundraising will not clear the debt. Where do we go from here? Where is the direction and leadership?

Although I know many people at the club I have not met Mr. O Neil or Mr. Khan. and I have not been involved from either side of the fence. My sole concern in Accrington Stanley Football Club. I realise that many of the the issues have been posted in the past, however I just wanted to keep it as simple as possible, as the basics in this subject baffle me.

If the board room struggle continues, the powers that be won't be struggling to value their shares ... they'll be struggling to decide who turns the last light off
