Thumbs up Emirates FA Cup Draw Round 3

Steven Gerrard and Ian Wright will make the draw for the next round of the Emirates FA Cup on Monday night.
Stanley are ball number 56
Liverpool or Arsenal (away) would be nice.

i,ll go for fulham or q.p.r. at home. don,t want some premier outfit that,ll play a reserve/youth team disrespecting us and then beat us. it,ll be like the checkatrade under a different name.

Would doubt if a premier team would play a youth or reserve side, in the F.A. Cup? if we dont get Halifax i wouldn't mind a premier team at the Wham, or even away if it was a top un. we aint gonna win the cup fer sure so good revenue is the best we can hope for imho.

Couldn't agree more Cashy.
Can't see any benefit of drawing a 'minnow'.
For small clubs, round three is all about living the dream & that means landing a whopper, the bigger the better.
Yes, an away draw at any top premier club will probably mean an early exit, but it will guarantee two things - loadsa Wonga from a fully televised game and half the country willing us on!
Sorry, make that three things - being in round 4.
Come on you reds!

Re: Emirates FA Cup Draw Round 3

Away at Old Trafford would do nicely.
According to Moaninho his team is even unluckier than Stanley at the moment. So, a share of a full house, a Billy Kee hat-trick, plus a last minute own-goal from Rooney, would be just dandy.
Who said the Cup was all about dreams?

check to see who chelsea, arsenal, spurs and the two manchester clubs play in the side if they play non league or div, 1 or 2 teams in the cup. have a history of playing weakened sides.

Yes, but those global corporate businesses have so many armchair fans who otherwise can never get to see their idols (I think that's the right spelling) that they can get a good crowd anyway.
Newcastle away would be another good earner for Stanley as their fans would turn out to watch Cashy play, if he was wearing black & white stripes.
