End of Season Table?

So we're 15 games into the season and the top 5 looks like this:

1 Grays Ath (how?!)
2 Exeter
3 ACCRINGTON
4 York
5 Stevenage

how does everyone think the table will end up?

personally i'd love it if the table finished as it is now......maybe swapping places with Grays

Re: End of Season Table?

I'd don't think we have really played well yet (ala Rotherham away) yet we are third so winning the league ain't out of the question but I expect a play off position this year

My head says we lose in the final though

Grays have been playing much worse than us - bar the Worcester games that is - and they are 1st in league!

ahh i get it...the worse you play the higher up you go! in that case...Anthony Barry for captain!!!

Re: End of Season Table?

I feel the criticsm of Barry is unfair, in my eyes he's what you'd call an "unsung hero". He breaks up the opposition play, his playing style may not be pretty but its effective

....for the other side!

yeah ok he gets stuck in ill give him credit for that - but his distribution of the ball is absolutely appalling for conference level; Craney is always having to pick up the pieces

Re: End of Season Table?

maybe in a couple of years...its a fact though that he gets muscled off the ball way too easily, not blaming the lad he's only 19 and he will get stronger but anyone who was at Worcester away will agree with me that Barry was like a boy against men that night

Barry is absolutely quality, the best signing pre season dont think you realise how much work he does do Woody, as Zayn said he is definately the 'unsung hero' of the team...

Top player

Re: End of Season Table?

spose it depends how you see him as a player, yeh hes a worker n gives 100%, but at the end of the day his distribution of the ball lets him down considerably, hes got bags of potential im just saying that right now, he's not strong enough or able enough to carry out his defensive midfielder role.

Im really suprised you think that....thats his strongest part of his game in which he's absolutely superb at, I'm shocked at some people's opinions of Anthony Barry, had this conversation with Cammy yesterday, sometimes we just wonder if some people watch the same game as we do

Re: End of Season Table?

it does seem strange that 2 people watching the same games come away with 2 contrasting opinions of 1 player......but then again football is all about opinions of who should play where and how and the like...
im just concerned that Anthony Barry wont be able to cope as well without a stong central defence behind him, because i know for a fact that Mike Flynn helped Barry's game tremendously; giving him confidence and direction from the back.
