Well what happened - place was dead from 12:20ish till about 14:15, giving beer away and still no-one goes in.
Think this needs a bit more advertising, whilst stood at the bus stop I overheard 2 old geezers talking about trying to get in last week, they got into the ground early and felt cold and decided to go into the club house for a warm, they got stopped at the door and asked - are you "just ordinary supporters" when they said yeah they got told they couldn't go in because it was private, they weren't impressed at not being able to get into the club house but felt worse about being called "just ordinary supporters" the way they talked about the place being run I'm surprised they even turned up today.

Disgusting!!! A supporter is a supporter as long as the clubhouse lets in away supporters that are friendly i wouldnt mind. No-one was going to go in the club house today when it is dead an to be honest not very good , people will pay money for a beer at the oaklea etc. Just because you got a token for a free beer after youve bought one wont make more people come in and especially at 12! Its a bit early!

An old bloke on the Manchester bus who comes all the way from Whitefield to watch us told me exactly the same story today. He's a life season ticket holder and he made a £200 donation to the club last season, but he's just an "ordinary supporter".

I forgot to mention the away supporters!
Went outside for my 1st fag and was talking to ozzy who was on the door, he turned a few away supporters away as they weren't allowed in but pointed them in the direction of the Crown, same again with my 2nd fag when another guy was on the door, still turned some away when I was coming out, all this is money/revenue being lost, fair enough making it home supporters only for busy local derby's and teams who have known trouble makers, how many away games have you been too and been allowed in "their" clubhouse??

Yep, that's the guy, Ken. He's a nice fella is Jack and very keen but he was somewhat disgruntled at being labelled an "ordinary supporter". Another Google Page Ranking own goal!
