I was a little surprised to hear the Ultras chanting Eric Whalleys name at the Clitheroe Game

No, however your continual support for a Man that single-handedly brought the club to near extinction sickens not just me but a large amount of Stanley fans.............how you can justify singing anti Robbie Williams songs (deservedly I hasten to add) but then go on to sing the praises of the Man who did more damage to the club and Accrington supporters than RW ever did is IMHO beyond the pale.

What about the promise he made to stand down after we were promoted? Did he keep that, err no! Or did that conveniently slip your mind?

The man is STILL holding the club to ransom by refusing to hand over ownership of the shares saying that there are outstanding "directors loans" due to him. No doubt that will be sorted when the accounts are eventually ratified, but loans are usually subject to a written agreement between all parties involved. Did you ever stop to wonder whether this may be what is holding things up, and keeping us under an embargo?

EW, was and remains a dinosaur and is only interested in what he can make for himself, be under no illusion that he wants the best for ASFC.

It would be great if you sang the praises of those who REALLY helped ASFC in it's hour of need instead of the man who would have stood by and watched the club that we love fall into the history books once again, for the wrong reasons.

If I were incharge at Stanley the man wouldn't even be allowed on the ground let alone be given exclusive access to the presidents lounge.

Yeh Eric was a get most of the time but he got us to the football league, any non league club would give their right arm for that, and most clubs in that league would pay £308,000 etc just to be were we are.

The Eric era was one of many things and aswell as the bad their is some good, so for that good i for one will sing what i like on that terrace , and i shall shout for Eric. He took us here after all.

Most people wont agree with my comments, i dont blame you, we all have different opinions, and rightly so, but i agree that Eric was the guy that brought us back to were we belong, how crap it might of been.

You honestly think I was referring to myself in my post?..........dont be so stupid man................I simply cannot see how you can glorify a Man who is SOLELY resposible for the huge debt we were in last year, regardless of whether He took us up,down or inbetween.

You stand on the terraces and sing negative things about former players and think nothing of it but then you idolise a man who allmost, but for the intervention of IK and PM, had that very same terrace closed down for good!!!...............double standards IMHO

I can fully understand the justification for being negative towards former players who brought shame and ridicule on a club and town that supported them week in week out for a long time, but you have failed to justify gloryfying EW, infact there is NO justification!

I would just like to reiterate a point i have seen on this forum before.

What are you all going to achieve by moaning on here?

The ultras sang his name maybe because they are happy to be in the football league and travel to the bigger better grounds as he got us here.

They also sing IK for keeping this enjoyment alive. If there are other you want to praise you do it.
