Re: Everton game
Good workout fer the lads, against a classy, strong, premiership side, We scored a good goal, good effort near the end,no disgrace at all, Credit to Mr Martinez fer playing a very strong team, Second half i thought i sign of how well stanley were doing was the fact Everton started kicking us into touch. overall well done lads,

Re: Everton game
Don't normally do friendlies, usually a farce with all the changes and lack of pressure, but last night was a decentgame.
First half hour in particluar Everton were world's apart, exceptionally quick.
Only bad point, regardless of friendly status,Piennar should have been sent off for his retaliation offence.

Agreed, and how Fellaini didn't even get a booking either !! Premier league ref looking after Premier league players. But a good work out for Stanley.

Re: Everton game
We enjoyed the game especially the Stanley goal. for my friend it was his first ever live game in a stadium ( he is Indian and has settled in UK in last 5 years ). I agree re Piennar, it also made me laugh the first half physical challenge on him he feigned a shoulder injury and signaled the bench for substitution....

To be fair though, watching on the PC, it looked like Luke Clark was lucky only to get a yellow for his tackle on Pienaar.

Personally thought Clark was unlucky, as everton had just got away wi 5/6 fouls that could have warranted a booking. Thats what i call being fair MikeA.
