Evil!!!

Why not 'rest' P.M. and give Evil a game as centre forward, is'nt that his natural position??? P.M. seems a bit slow and tired these days to me. Last season he would have buried that 1st minute chance.

Re: Evil!!!

Correct I know but it just looks to me like the old boy copuld do with a rest for a few games ya know. Try something a bit different... like 4-4-2. 4-5-1 far too negative for homes games. Whats going on with the attendances this season!!!

Re: Evil!!!

I'll tell you what's going on with the attendances. After the initial burst of enthusiasm at the beginning of last season, the traditional "Accy apathy" has reasserted itself and the fairweather fans have gone back to Turf Moor, Ewood Park, the pub and the comfort of their armchairs. Unless a few hundred of them rouse themselves from their torpor and return to the IES, I fear that full-time football could be a noble, but failed, experiment in Accrington.

Re: Evil!!!

The fairweather fans have gone because we haven't had much fair weather. Things could improve if and when we get the roof. If we haven't got the roof soon it will be winter and there will be even fewer at the games. No fairweather fan is going to stand behind the goals and get soaked.

I really hope you're right, Jeff. No doubt we'll find out over the next few months when the Clayton End roof is in place. I take it that it's still going ahead?
